I love love love that movie. It's one of those that I made my kids (and framily kids) watch and they also were mildly creeped out. That movie has so much atmosphere you can almost chew it. I don't know why it's so compelling. The doorknockers who won't release the clang and have mouth sounds! So gross! But I watch. And I can't take my eyes of Bowie or Jennifer Connelly! And someone needs to wipe that baby's face, poor little snot creature! Wow. Labyrinth.

I need to rewatch it! There’s definitely something compelling in there because people love it!!

I wonder what your kiddos would think too. I feel like it's 90-ish minutes of raised or furrowed eyebrows.

“try not to touch the slide when you use it” had me DYING. And I LOVE the googly-eyed deer. HOW DARE THEY take that down?

As always, it is such a treat to see how masterfully you tie this all together.

I am really missing out on LPC here in Florida. I’ve only ever experienced one “corn maze” that felt more like a death wish in 90+ degree heat. I need to get back to Oregon to catch up on all these thoughtful moments!

Wow! Human beings can really learn something new everyday! I just learned multiple things just by reading this one post! Thank you! I want to live in your town as Santa descends to the crowd. Mine just plops himself into his chair at 10 when the mall opens…and always wanted to walk in the labyrinths, so cool! I have yet to see one in person let alone walk in one! Is it IN or ON? Haha!

Another LOL post! The googly eyes are funny but what was more Portlandia than anything was the cost associated with removing googly eyes from the city, where they had to let us all know that fun should never be had.

If they were smart they'd source some safe adhesive googly eyes and just put 'em in a basket for people to attach and move on with life.
